Well, it's been about 3 years since I tore my bicep tendon, and it finally caught up to me. During defensive tactics training I got a slight tear in one of the muscles in my forearm (extensor digitorum). I now can't so much as use my left arm to steer while driving. Fantastick.
This injury has been accredited to my left forearm being weakened as a result of my prior injury. Appearently it isn't capable of withstanding the force being applied by my shoulder, tricep, and bicep in that arm anymore. I've worked hard on getting it up to speed but it just hadn't gotten there yet, and now I imagine it will take even longer.
Not sure where I was going with this, other than maybe just to remind folks that some injuries take a long damned time to be corrected completely even after the wound is healed. Be careful!
