I have a 6 pack, how do I get an 8 pack?

I have a pretty distinct 6 pack and I'm looking to get another pair.

Are there any specific exercises that I can do to target the bottom "2 packs"? I read that some people's connective tissue on the last set isn't so strong, thereby making some people more prone to show an 8, but it possible right? There aren't any people that absolutely lack that connective tissue, am I correct?

genetics play a huge role in this. some people will never show a 6-pack even at 2% bodyfat.

It's improtant to remember that your 'abs' are a sheet muscle and not 8 individual muscles so you can't really isolate any particular area of your abs. Whether all 8 protrusions show or not is largely down to genetics and body fat % but of course you can build them up with training as well
 
that last set is tough. I had that V once, but that was 50 lbs ago. I think being good at freeweight squats would help, especially because you abs are huge stabilizer muscles, and diet will play a huge role too. As for ab work, you can build those muscles too doing weighted pull downs on a cable machine, or by doing hanging leg raises with a small medicine ball.

Now doing this 5 days a week still may not give you that last piece, but those are the things i can think of that would help develop your overall core more, which is what gives you the last bit youre looking for.
