I have recieved 1000+ emails in the last 12 hours with a subject of:

WorldFitness Weekly Newsletter

Is anybody else getting these? How can I stop them?
 
Yes me too, was this forum hacked? Make it stop already!
 
Yes. I have been deleting dozens per hour... I've gone into the CP and turned off notices but they continue. Next step is making complaints with Spam Cop which will likely result in some blacklisting...

Make it stop...
 
That is odd, this has never happened before. Something must have gone wrong. I'll send a message to Sean.
 
It's happening to me too. I unchecked all the boxes in the forum preferences, but that didn't change anything. Keep getting the same newsletter over and over and over...
 
sorry guys!!!! I sent out the newsletter and left it to run. When I got back a few hours later, the newsletter was stuck in an infinite loop and was sending the same 3 or 4 pages of users over and over again. Unfortunately, the emails were all sent and put into the mail queue, so there was no way to stop them from being sent. I ended up with about 3000 myself ... not fun. Thankfully we do our mail hosting with Google, and between it's message threading and mail filters, it wasn't such a big problem for my inbox ... the bug was fixed, so it won't happen again. Sorry guys.
