Hi all!

I am new at this site, come to think of it I have never used a site like this before, but let's face it...I need help. I am 54 and weigh around 330 pounds. I have a history of cardiac arrest and continue to have high blood pressure. Bottom line is I need to lose weight, eat health and get some exercise. I have head knowledge, but am the ultimate queen of excuses. I need somewhere to work through some of the issues of poor eating habits and cheerleaders to help me move my backside. Bottom line is...either lose the weight or die. Today...I choose life.
 
Welcome mate. Im currently on a cut meaing loose weight. Just try to cut out to obvious bad things such as burgers etc. Replace them with propper meats and not processed meats. As far as exercise start a small routine. You dont want to push to hard espcially to begin with (sorry for spelling). Also take one day at a time.

That's wonderful news! IMO your best investment right now would be to hire a personal trainer to help guide and motivate you. Is that something you can do at your gym?
 
step 1: only buy 'good' foods. if you don't have crap to eat around the house, and don't allow yourself to go dine out on crap...you won't eat crap.

step 2: find an exercise program that your doctor approves of, and stick to it. there's no room for excuses. just DO IT whether you want to or not.

its honestly gonna take a lifestyle change. lifestyle is how you got here, so changing the course is the ONLY way to get to a new place and stay there.
