What is the best way to stop being skinny?

Hi friends, I am very weak looking in my physical appearance. I have tried a lot to make my body get a good built up; including a healthy diet plan and tough work out sessions, but did not get any satisfactory results. Does anyone know the best way to get out of this skinny looks?

It's simple, you need to eat more. And don't tell us you already eat a lot, because you still just need to eat more. And lift heavy stuff, that way most of the weight you put on will be muscle.

I agree with this totally. I was a skinny guy myself for my whole life until I did a little research and found out that skinny guys (ectomorphs) have to train and eat differently if you want any results at all. I ate 6 meals a day and each meal left me feeling sick i was so full...but i was wanting to eat again in 3 hours or so. Also you can't be afraid of eating some fats. It is impossilbe for ectomorphs to put on any size while avoiding all fats. Once you put on the weight you want, you can start worrying about toning. Sure you may lose your 6 pack a little bit but every skinny guy has a 6 pack and it will look much more impressive once you add some weight. You should also do as stated above and lift heavy. Focus on compound lifts and dont be affraid to take a day or two off to let your body recover. This really worked for me, but everyone is different. Good luck!!

Good fats include those from fish, nuts, and avocados. Avoid partially hydrogenated oils and trans-fats found in many junk foods and fast food restaurants.

It's already been said. Eat LOTS of HEALTHY foods, lift HEAVY and often and get the rest you require. You need a lot of protein in your diet. Chicken, beef, pork, fish, natural PB, cottage cheese, whey/cassein shakes, ect.

Yup, sound advice from all of you. Let me share some insight with you that will help you take this further.

I am an ecto myself. But I managed to put on 10lbs of lean muscle no problem. One thing you need to understand is that your body likes to STAY in the state its in right now. Dramatic change is not welcome, therefore if the changes you make in your eating habits are not SIGNIFICANT, then you will not see much weight gain improvement.

You need to SHOCK your body so that it has no choice but to adapt. That means for the first week or two... 5 meals a day with weight gainer shakes or 6 full meals a day if you cannot afford weight gainer shakes.

At first you will hate it... its going to be uncomfortable eating so much.... but eventually your body will have no choice but to adapt and put on the beloved lbs.

It's just like weight training... when you lift heavy till you reach failure, your body has no choice but to rebuild that muscle bigger and stronger.

One last tip... your muscles are composed of 70% water. Think about that. That means all the supplements your take, food you eat is only 30% of your muscle mass.

So it should be obvious... drink LOTS AND LOTS of water.

Good luck

Don’t you worry my friend. It takes time to find the right way to workout. People try many different ways to improve their look, and they spend a lot trying, too. In my opinion, you could benefit from a free pdf book on link. It should help you to get out of your skinny looks.

like all the others said, eat more and lift heavy.

Look into healthy peanutbutter jelly sandwiches. I make PBj sandwiches from super grainy bread with natural peanutbutter and mashed raspberries on top. its so darn tasty and a good calorie bomb :eating:
