Can you help me out?

Hey,

I've just signed onto this forum because i've wanted to get a 6 pack abs for years and i'm finally feeling enthused and disciplined enough to do it, even stopped smoking a few months ago!

My goal is to lose 5-6kg in 4 months so that i can see my abs coming through and be at 22 BMI. I plan to achieve this by exercising for 30 minutes everyday, doing full body workout at the gym, yoga, martial arts or tennis, random things that i enjoy doing so i won't get bored and those things all have good qualities, cardio/resistance/stretching/toning. Also to not go nuts on dieting, but eat smaller meals and more frequently, lots of nuts, fresh meats, and fruits and veges, cutting out crap junk food.

Basically, i know my abs will only show through when i'm at a pretty light weight maybe about 60kg for me and i'm 170cm, and i want to achieve that in a healthy way (with no spot reduction gimics - my abs have already been sculpted underneath due to those myths haha). I've read a lot of stuff on the internet and its hard to know what to believe but basically i'm asking you, do you think my plan will work or is there things im not considering etc?

Thanks heaps,
Greg

Doesn't matter so much about your weight then it does about your body fat percent. You're not really giving us much to look at in terms of what your plans are. But i can tell you 30 minutes at the gym wouldn't be enough. Different things work for different people seems like you're on a good track. I would say just give it a go and see what happens. After all doing something you like (what your plans are) and getting maybe not a 6 pack but a lean body is better then doing something you don't like (2 hours in the gym every single day) and getting a 6 pack.
