There are a few people on here that have used it and they report success. I have a friend that followed them religiously and they worked for him. I personally dont enjoy the workouts.
I have been hitting the gym off and on for a long time and these intro workouts have been tough. Got me curious to see what others thought about the program. Im not looking forward to the tougher ones, already had to drop in weight used due to the higher reps for the breakin period.
I have heard nothing but good things. Lots and lots of good things.
Got the book a while ago but ended up giving it to a friend. Right now I'm doing WSFSB. Were this not the case I would have tried to say something useful above.
I am a big fan of NROL myself and have completed a few of the programs. I probably enjoyed Strength I the best however I saw great gains on Hypertrophy II. Then again, I think it is just all down to working hard and changing things up which is what the program does.
Yes, the workouts are intense but effective.
I am currently doing Chad Waterbury's ABBH at the moment and seeing good results not to mention spending less time in the gym. Once I have completed it I will probably go back to NROL.
I did nrol break in hypertrophy 1 and 2 and fat loss 1 and 2. I really enjoyed doing the workouts. It felt great pushing myself that hard in the gym, and enjoyed everything that came with it. Although i did make gains, I think other programs out there may work better. The only time I will go back to it is to do the strength programs at some point. But you should test it out, most people see awesome results with it.
I followed it for a while until the Women's version came out. I think the workouts in the book for women were actually a lot harder. They require a lot of balance and really work the core. I respect both books though. Definitely good workouts.
