How to lose fat on face?

I am currently trying to lose some fat on my face.
Are there any good tips as to how to go about doing it?
I've heard there were some face exercises.
Is that basically it? Or are there some other methods as well.
Any input would be helpful.
Thank you.

Lose fat in general and you will lose fat on your face. You can't pick and choose where you will lose fat. You may be prone to carrying extra fat in your face in which case you'll have to get very lean in order to get a more chiseled face.

I'm like that. I think I'm close to 10% bf but I still wish my jawline was more chiseled, but it is a lot different than it used to be. Here's a thread I started last November that illustrates the difference in my face:

Thanks for your reply.

The only thing is.
My current weight is 140 pounds.
I'm also 20 years old / male.
My face tends to be a bit chubby.
I want to as you mentioned a more chiseled face structure.
So basically I have to lose general body weight?

You would need to get leaner....at some point this involves losing weight. You can bulk up and then lose fat where you may end up heavier than you started, but leaner

Not everyone can have a strong jaw line, but it can help to lower your BF has much as you can. Genetics play a role when it comes to jaw line.

HAHA.

So basically, I have to lose general weight to lose fat on my face?
I don't want to lose any more weight though.
I'm already 140 pounds @ age 20!

You need to lose fat yes.

What does your body composition look like?
Are you soft but skinny?
Skinny fat?

Body-fat percentage?

Unless your already muscular and low BF, you still most likely have a chance of getting your face leaner.

If you are soft and have no muscle, you need to bulk up a bit put some muscle on then cut the fat.

Liposuction? Chin implant? :D

Also what Phate said.

Don't even dare mention a chin implant!

I saw a guy who got plastic surgery.

He gave himself chin implants, higher cheek bones, etc.
He looked so weird, not ugly but fake. Like he was made out of plastic. it was scary

He also gave himself AB implants and pec implants that looked abnormal LOL!

ok, I gotta agree with you here....that &$^#% just scary!!!!

Yeah, I don't really even see the point when implant type surgeries are "successful". I honestly can't see a difference. I was kidding, if that wasn't obvious to anyone. :p

Liposuction, on the other hand, might be an option. But I wouldn't mess around with that garbage until you've really given it your all. Mostly because it very likely won't be necessary if you do all the right things. You can start by asking yourself Phate's questions, and then acting on the answers.

And once you have... well, learn to like your face. It's your face. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. Though I will be getting braces pretty soon here (yeah, at 22, that's gonna be fun, right? haha). I like to tell myself that's not obsessive vanity so much as repair (which in my case is true, I fell out of a very tall tree when I was little). And landed on my front teeth.
