Wish me Luck!!!

I've mentioned before how my wife's job is now in Minnesota, but we live in Cincinnati. She has had to be gone more than 50% of the time for the last couple months and there is no end in sight until we can get our house sold. Then we'll move there and she wont have to go away.

This is pretty tough especially since we have a 3 1/2 year old and a 2 year old who don't understand why Mommy has to be gone all the time.

We have a couple coming back for a second showing on our house tomorrow. They are also looking at another house in our neighborhood I guess just because they noticed the sign the last time they were here.

I'm not sure if I believe friends' well wishes make a difference in these matters, but it sure can't hurt, so....

Wish Me Luck!!:D

Good luck Gooch, sell that bad boy!

Good Luck Gooch!

With the type of Father you are, I am sure you will do your best to help your children understand why mommy has to be gone most of the time.

Best of luck in getting the house sold and finding another to live in.

Best of luck, my friend

Chillen

Good luck! I know this must be very hard on you, Jr. Gooch and Mrs. Gooch.

Have you considered renting your current house out if the sale doesn't go through? I have 5 rental houses and while being a landlord is no sweetheart occupation, it isn't nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. Especially, if you have a local real estate broker be the rental manager.

"I have to have a raise in my commission," the realtor said to his manager. "There are three other companies after me."
"Is that so?" asked the manager. "What other companies are after you?"
"The electric company, the telephone company, and the gas company."

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone, I'm drinking in the luck.

I know there are people who have it a lot worse, but this has been our personal hell for 87 days.

Richard, we've considered that. We'll see what unfolds

Well, They came. All I can do now is wait. I know it would be wise not to get my hopes up, (especially since we had a second showing before and were devastated when they bought another house) but I can't help it.

I feel like I'm going to throw up:eek:

I agree that you should not put too much emphasis on any one potential buyer. I have sold houses and I have bought houses after the house was viewed only once, so don't assume that all single viewers are "one and done".

Thanks for trying, but they liked the other house so much they didn't even come to ours again. The other house has been on the market for a total of 5 days.

Hang in there Gooch, it takes time to sell a house on the market these days. As for the other house, it may have been priced well below market value, they may have made some sort of deal, who knows, you will find the right people for your place......:hug2::hug2:

Oh bummer but don't worry...someone will come along and love your house! When I was selling my house I was so stressed out so I know how you must feel. But it will sell and you will move!!

You'll have a buyer soon, I can just feel it! :)

Yeah, I don't know. It is 500 sq ft smaller than ours, smaller yard, no brick and $2000 more. I hope they enjoy the garage band next door:D
