Got over depression and weight loss stump

Hey you guys I know you have seen me around here posting some crazy things here in the forum that aren't healthy or they are dangerous. I was going thru depression with my weight loss. Now that I have joined LA Fitness and hired a personal trainer I feel much better about my weight loss. I have been doing cardio and strength training for the past week now and my whole body aches. This is a painful good feeling if you know what I mean. It means progress and now that I can go to the gym with a family member its much motivation for me. I just thought that it would be good to share.

Also I can eat whatever I want as long as its not fast food but I have to eat it really small thru out the day 5 times a day. And if I do eat a Big Mac I would have to run the tread for 1hr 30mins. Anyways hope you all are having fun with the weight loss. And btw it is better to get a gym membership it may be a little expensive but they help you out with the money and your body. Glad to see you're back on track. And yes, I'm quite familiar with the aches and pains of breaking in a new workout lol. Just keep making the right choices on a daily basis and you'll get to where you want to be.
 
I lost 5 lbs a week for the first two weeks I started my diet. Probably because I went from eating about a million calories a day to a 1500 calorie diet. I dropped 10 lbs the first two weeks, then it'd be 1 lb here, 2 lbs there, and then I'd be stuck at some weight for like a week or so then I'd lose a few more. But when I was losing 5 lbs a week, my body was probably in shock at the small amount of calories it was getting compared to before, ha.

You probably lost that weight because your diet changed and you decreased the levels of sodium in your body. This caused the level of water you were storing to drop and your weight plummeted in line with your current sodium intake.

That's my guess anyway, it's almost impossible to lose 5lbs of pure fat a week

ugh I fell off track and I am very pissed off. You know LA fitness screwed me over a gym membership that kept me happy. Well I am not very happy anymore.... really does suck....

They had put my training membership in somebody else's name and I couldnt get a personal trainer. One of the trainer's pocketed my $160.00 and put it in some girl's name. It took 4 months to get my refund back. And one of the sales reps kept bothering me everyday about money that I owed. Every day I had to hear him bitch as I kept working out that really distracted me. I kept writing checks to pay for my membership and he came up to me saying well I never got a check from you we need a debit card. What a little bitch he made me angry so I quit. I never knew where my checks went luckily I monitored my account they never got cashed? Idiots!
 
At the very least, I would've paid in person and demanded a receipt each and every time. At this point, I would see about stopping payment on those checks, so they couldn't come and cash them later. Yes, you did use the facility during the time you wrote those checks, but from everything it sounds like they screwed up, I wouldn't feel bad about it.
 
I just started working out this week Chrissy so we have that in common. I hear the same voices in my head and I hope you do not let them take your health away form you. Cheer up and try it again. I started at 6'5" 320 last Saturday and I weight 313 as I am writting this. Please find the strengh to start over again and hang on. I almost fainted the first 2 days of my workout and I have been adjusting my food now so I feel better and do not get light headed. I think 2 hours a day everyday has been too much for me to handle. I want to see you keep posting becuase I need to hear what you are going through too.
