 Long day and no food? I know some people pretend Subway is a healthy option but it still looks like ready-made junk to me. Nothing you can sink your teeth into, despite the calories. But I guess it's the same with fast food burgers. Maybe I'm just weird.

Subway was started by 2 or maybe it was 3 doctors. So they came up with the whole eat our food to lose weight and be healthy.
All their breads are loaded with sugars and carbs. The meats im sure are loaded with funky super duper preservatives. Make the meat last forever and they dont have to buy as much. Yes doctors but they want the most money they can make.
Sandwiches at the the trendy fast food type are probably the same as most burgers, not really all that good for you. They are very food like.
My shake had peanut butter and the protein power that were both loaded with good for u stuff. The milk very carby but a few vitamins here and there. The sandwich was tuna with some extra meat so not horrible. That was more a convience stop rather than any other reason.
So today was kinda eating without eating.
Now as far as you being weird i offer no comment. oma didn't raise a fool ;)

:biggrinjester: I embrace my weirdness. Sadly medical doctors can be as lazy-of-thinking, bigoted (but I repeat myself) greedy and out-of-touch as anyone. Not related to Subway. In that case I could even imagine it having deteriorated over time, like Kellogg's. The corn chips sold today have nothing to do with the original idea of healthy/easy/quick/affordable breakfast. Or killing the urge to masturbate, so I guess it's not all bad. Which brings me back to my point that doctors are nothing but people.

Never heard the story of Dr Kellogg? His main incentive for looking for healthier food for the masses was that he thought fiber would kill the urge to masturbate. He's also largely responsible for getting Christian boys circumcised - and for basicly the same reason.

May not be the best but there are way more damaging things to do to your body.
