Rebel's Diary

It always feels funny using the group hug one, when it's just you sending it, but in our case, I think we can safely share a hug on behalf of one another. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

When are you checking in with your doc to see how the new meds are working? Can you feel a difference from your blood pressure? Sorry the day was long :( Hope you got to go for a spin on your newly active bike at least.

I talked to her today. The blood pressure is much better and im not really lightheaded anymore unless i stand up too fast. Turned out tje battery was bad on the bike. It would start but had to put it on a charge every day. In the stores tjey run a little over a 100.00. Found one online for 45..oo so im waiting patiently. ......... More or less :(

Just a general update or rambling....

Blood pressure- still low but not go to the hospital low. Should b normalish in a few more days.

Diet pills- working almost too well. The over the counter stuff I've tried always made me feel kinda bloated and feeling kinda full. These take away the urge to eat. Im just simply not hungry. It's a synthetic amphetamine so that makes sense.

Motorcycle- ordered the battery a few days ago and it showed up this afternoon. I guess the post office ferries were on the job.

Doctor- she wants my calories at least 1500. 1200 has been more the normal. Shes not overly concerned since im not real active at the moment. She thinks adding a snack might help.

Today- I had breakfast about 3pm. I had some fresh strawberries topped with some balsamic vinegar. Its odd i know but i tried it in France a lifetime ago and its one of those weird food combinations i happen to like. Its almost no calories but a butt-ton of carbs but oh well. I have to go a few hours out of town and really dont want to eat out so my calories might be stoopid low today depending on what i make when i get back home tonight.

A few nuts would bump your calories up Rebel plus maybe a banana.
How long have you been taking diet pills?

Yeah, those things are usually just multiply their volume when they come into contact with water. Anything else would have to be classified (and thus regulated) as a drug. Or just not work at all, of course.
Strawberries with balsamic are awesome! I second the nut suggestion, by the way.

Home finally....
Ate at a salad place. Had some mini cornbread and ginger muffins that was 70 and 90 calories each. Mental note... Check calories on bread type things first. Probably ended up with 1500-1700 calories for the day..

Really hate probably days....

70 and 90 kcal for muffin type things is not a lot! And probably days will be the majority of the rest of your life, but for now I can totally understand that you can't stand them. Glad you managed to make your calories today :hug2:

Today has been just mostly sleep. Just feel so drained...

Breakfast- Egg sandwich; 8 ounces egg whites, mayo, low carb flat wrap. (313 calories)

Lunch- home made chickpea curry. (789 calories)

Dinner- Just some snacks; peach yogurt, 2 cheese sticks, 2 TBLS raw peanut butter. (470 calories)

One HUNDRED pounds lost? That´s amazing, Rebel! Especially while dealing with mental health issues. 11 Pounds in two weeks is a lot, by the way, no matter which direction. I hope you´re properly proud of yourself. All the hugs and congratulations. Losing 20% of your body weight is a major accomplishment.
