Hooray :)

hurray =)

Just weighed myself this morning, and I'm down to 9 stone which is excellent considering I used to be over 10 stone (I think, I didnt actually have scales when I started excercising :p)
But its a huge success for me, and I just wanted to thank you all for taking the time to write out advice for people like me (or people who where like the old me).

So far I've got compliments from about 8 friends, my maths teacher, my friends sister, my parents and a few others from my school. They all say either "have you lost weight or something?". "You've lost weight? your a lot thinner" and so on (they all said near enough the same thing :p). Hell, I didnt think you'd be able to tell the difference in my school uniform (since it makes everyone look pretty bulky if you know what I mean) but they say I've lost weight around my face and neck (which is true, because I can actually see my collar bones all the time now, and my adams apple is always visible, not sure if thats to do with puberty or what but still :))

This isint the end of the line for me of course, because i'll still be exercising regularly and staying on a healthy diet. I've learned a lot over the past few months about the benefits of having a healthy diet, excercising, and so on. I new it was good for me, but I didnt know it benifited me so well. The visual part of looking at myself and thinking "Wow, I look a lot better" is good, but its much more satisfying to know that its keeping my insides healthy too.

So thank you all, and best of luck to everyone still trying to lose weight, just stick to it. You'll have ups and downs but its still very much worth it I feel :)

(Sorry, I dont have any before/after photos, didnt really think much about that at the time of losing weight :()
Bye bye, and thanks so much again ;)
and apologies for the long-ish thread :p

Congratulations on your journey, it makes me happy someone else could feel as happy as I did when I lost the weight because i can totally relate with you.

Remember to keep the weight off, and if you ever need motivation or advice or anything you know where to find us.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Hehe, thanks :)

I'm still going to lose a bit more (maybe got down to 55kg and maintain that). But I'm not really worried at the moment, I want to maintain my weight till I join a gym and maybe start doing a few weights and so on.

But yeah, its all going well!
