Need food for 15 mile mountain bike ride?

Hi guys,

Just wondering is it recommended to take food for a 15 mile bike ride? Should I take something for half way through and what would be best??
 
What is the terrain?
How long will it take (do you think)?

personally I would not worry about food during the ride, Liquids Yes (Florida is hot:SaiyanSmilie_anim:).

I agree, thats short enough that all you need is water. If you want to bottle some diluted sports drink..that could be done to replace some electros.
 
Water. Invest in a camel pack, if you don't already own one.

If you feel you're really going to need food (you shouldn't) bring along an energy bar or something similar.
 
I don't bring food on a shortride like that, but that's me. You may need food. Accelerade in your water bottle may work just fine. Or you may want to bring a camelback with water or accelerade as was suggested. As for a snack, I like special k bars.
