Is this a good chest workout?

Ok I was planning on doing my chest every monday and friday for an hour each day. During that time I'll most likely be benching and inclines. So I dont really have any amount of reps im planning on doing but am planning just working out my chest for the whole hour. Is that too much?

yea...work your whole body and you will reap the benefits.
strong supporting muscles(back muscles) and a powerful overall body will increase benching power the best(im guessing this is your main goal)

please dont work only chest...i recommend a full body workout 3 times a week

Yes.An entire FBW usually takes me (and others I imagine) an hour or less, so spending that whole time on your chest would be unnecessary, especially since it wouldn't yeild any better results. You should do a FBW 3x a week, especially if all you were planning on doing was chest. That would only lead to muscle imbalances and poor posture, plus make you more susceptible to injuries. You should read the stickies on this site and decide if your looking to bulk or cut.

agree with those two guys.

btw, squats/deads put stress ont he entire body, long explanation short, this causes your body to release more growth hormone therefore increasing upperbody gains as well.

whoa there big man, don't kick my ass or anything. You're an idiot, i read what you typed, you didn't specify what you started with 90 pounds on, bench and incline are different. Like I said, some people aren't meant to bulk up.

Honestly, I know much more what I'm talking about than you do.

and in answering your question, why would you start out with sometihng ridiculously easy if you'll be able to add 20 pounds to each set? Start higher, if you're doing pyramids, then I'd just increase 10 per set.
