Teen fit camp !

The biggest looser ended and hey what do u know about a month latter another show just like it pops up but its about teens. And its not just aussies its aussies and americans. Is this show playing in america? but yeah i like watching these shows :) its got people in it my age now to so its fun to watch

Yeah I really liked the biggest loser... I haven't heard of the new one yet. Doesn't mean it's not here tho. Sounds like it would be interesting as alot of health issues start young now days...

What about celeb fit club?

I find that show funny. The show itself goes against the philosophy they set, which is weight lost. It just turns into focusing on people shouting and screaming rather than how people can get in better shape.

I went to their website, and it's not that bad. At least they made an attempt to get some kind of information out for people who want to try.

yeah they dont really tell u **** coz its a tv show its more for inspiration. its up to the person watching to get them selfs into shape. And id love to see a show like this but body building not just loosing weight :)

I hate these stupid shows. They almost all showcase horrible ways to lose weight

Yeah I agree. The weight loss they achieve is totally unrealistic in the real world.

The first thing the latest winner in Australia said after winning was that he couldn't wait to put some weight back on. He looked really sick and frail......

I COULD agree more >_>

I used to like Biggest Loser....that is until I realised all the weigh-ins were rigged.

I'm just so sick of commercial TV profiting from people's fatness. Yes, many many people are fat, it's a serious problem - we get it, enough of this crap now ><

How do the people on biggest loser lose like 40 kilo's in 6 weeks.....I know some of them are big...but...seriously...half of them aren't that fat that they'd lose crazy amounts of weight each week like 5-10 kilo's a week...come on..thats like 15-22 pounds a week.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the show is a few months...and they just tape the weigh in's as if they're doing it once per week...b/c as they show goes ...it's week by week...but how could they lose all that body fat % so fast and still be healthy?

Who says they're healthy?

7 kilos a week is 1 kilo a day is -3500 or so calories each day. If all they do is exercise for the entire day, it's theoretically possible, but if you think about it, they should constantly be sore and tired.

But the weigh-ins are definitely rigged, as they want to keep the people whom cause the most drama in the show, and get rid of the "boring" ones, and do things like that.

So yeh, rigged on multiple levels probably.

I think my biggest issue is the unrealistic wt loss.

As if we don't already have enough garbage circulating around giving people the idea that they can lose 5 pounds a freakin' day. It's no wonder people give it a go, then get all upset and quit when they only lose (gasp) 1-2 pounds a week.

Sure, maybe there is some aspect of inspiration, in terms of seeing the struggles of others and knowing you aren't alone, and all that. But you know what, you don't have to watch a reality show to realize you aren't alone in your struggle to lose weight - all you have to do is walk outside and look around.
