Alright, here's my before/after... need advice!

OK, being brave here with the before/after... this was about 9-10 months ago when I had braces too lol. Think I was around 180, at about 155 now.

VS.

Today. In the close up of the ab picture I tried to remain as relaxed as I could so you could see the "real" picture. I want to firm up much more there, and my love handles/lower abs are my real problem. I'm not looking for a ripped bodybuilder look, more of a swimmer's/athletic. I know I need to start lifting weights more, any ideas on what I should concentrate on?

Thanks for any advice! (P.S. avid runner here so it's hard to cut the cardio)

great job so far bro I think you cut down great...I think you should start doing the full body workout 3-4 times a week. IF you want you can do cardio as well maybe once or twice...keeping eating 6 meals a day bulk up a bit add more calories to each meal and see how you are doing in a month or so good luck

how as he cut down danny? hes just lost some weight .

Northmont>how tall are u because u look quite thin (well done on the weight loss)u need to find a decent weight training programme and start to put the 25lbs of weight u lost back on with a bulk . Try not to be obsessed with ab work itll come on a good diet and maybe some compound lifts search the stickies get a little more educated and in another 9-10 months youll look 9-10% better

good luck

about 5'10". I'm a bit scared to put the 25 lbs of weight back on, not sure I want to bulk up that much. I just want bigger arms and visible abs. I'll take a look at the stickies some more... it's just frustrating with so much contrasting information on the forums and the internet that I'm never fully confident in my choice and therefore don't fully commit.

I think my diet is really lacking. I start off good everday until about 5pm then I tend to eat whatever I feel like. Usually morning consists of fruit and protein shake, breakfast usually something filling like a sandwich on wheat, more fruit, veggies, etc. It's actually kind of weird that I wake up every morning feeling refreshed to do it again, I think it's become a habit now, for a couple months at least.

Rarely am I finding myself even commiting to a whole day of good nutrition. Are there any nutrition plans that aren't so specific with certain foods (besides the food pyramid :p)?

Also, I can commit to 3 workouts a week no problem (and I will look into a program for sure marko157, any basic ones that I can start with and alter as needed?). I have trouble understanding how you can do a 4th workout. I thought it was customary to wait a day after every workout? Or would this routine be someone like an upper body only and lower body only workout?

Thanks for your help so far guys!
