full body workout above, I don't really want to be big, I just want to be cut.
.. I am 18, 145 lbs, 5'7" tall..
I am trying to lose the fat in my stomach, well i'm not fat but I have a layer of it hiding my abs, so anyways, I heard you cannot gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, I don't get what you mean by that, do yall mean by the same day or in the routine I have above? I am also trying to get my arms bigger, and get abs, that is what I am trying to do. I have ate out and drunk soda for the past year and I have quit doing so.
here is what I got so far from this board:
-Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Each meal should be 2-3 hours apart.
-Each meal should contain one protein and one carb
-The first meal should be eaten within an hour after waking up in the morning.
-Drink a cup of water at each meal.
-Get 7-8 hours of sleep each day.
-Rest properly, taking 1-2 days off from exercising per week.
-Protein: chicken, eggs, fish, beef, milk, and pb&j sandwiches. Avoid fast-food meats.
-Carbs: oats, whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. especially stuff with the word "berries" in them.
-Fat: vegetable oils, seeds and nuts.
I am trying to figure out my calorie intake, not eating as much and eating good food, home cooked meals is all I know.
