Just wondering...

I know this isnt the place for pics, so i wont ask for pics, but im kinda curious if anyone on this msg board has battled from 80+ lbs over weight to look lean with nice muscle definition? Im currently down 80lbs but im thinkin ill need to lose another 10-15lbs to get to my healthy weight, so ill have lost almost 100lbs by the time im finished cutting... anyone experiance this or were the majority of you thin to begin with and just started bulking? Wondering if anyone has had to deal with an extensive cut... stretch marks.. loose skin... and turned it all around to look good with their shirt off? Stories/pics... anything to make me think its even possible.

From what I've seen, there is a decent mixture of those trying to lose (or have) and those trying to bulk (or have).

I'm still working mine off from two kids. Overall, when I'm done, I'll be looking at a loss of about 50-55 pounds total, and I'm around half way there. I didn't get many stretch marks, and the ones I got are the small white kind, not the larger darker kind. As for excess skin, well, that one I'm a bit more worried about, since my abdomen was wayyyy stretched both pregnancies, and seems to be showing signs of extra skin the more wt I lose.

I've seen people who lose a lot and have no prob, and some who do, I think it all depends on that person's body, their age, genetics, a bunch of stuff.

I'm down over 70 with a little more to go, small amount marks, no loose skin. I'm young, that may have something to do with it.

Congrats on losing 80 pounds thus far.

For me I only need to lose about 50-60 pounds. I'm only about 20 pounds off thus far, so I'm not even halfway done yet.

I agree that depending on your age, and how your body functions, it's going to determine how quickly your skin and readjust to the changing body weight.
