Favorite ab move

Hey ladies just wondering if everyone can say their favorite ab move and where it targets so we all get an idea of wut works really well and maybe hear some new ones! =)

My fav is planks cause i really feel like my entire ab area is engaged

I feel like the bicycle move delivers the most bang for your buck, but I wouldn't say it's my "favorite" because it's a really tough move (at least for me at this point-- I still do it though) I love yoga ab exercises like the boat pose just because they don't feel as killer. :) Plank is tough, but often I think I feel it more in my arms that are supporting me than in my abs.

I love the boat pose for abs and quads. If you want to hit your abs more with it keep your legs lower :)

Plank is great too for both body parts mentioned but I can't stand bicycle :p

cool girls i like those too..ya bicycle i hate but it is good n i do it anyways too..it hurts like hell n kills my neck =)...ya susie thats how i felt at first about the plank too but if u really tighten the abs, hold it for almost a min, and put a lil more pressure on ur toes its easier on the arms..i def understand where ur comin from tho cause ive never worked out my arms and their weak as hell so its still a hard..cant do too many lol

If you ladies'd not mind a guy's opinion... Ball bridges I find are great for the lower body - hamstrings, glutes, and core all get a good workout. The one exercise that isn't too friendly to me yet is the teaser (think that's what it's called). It's the one where you're balancing on your tailbone sitting in a V (sitting up with legs up).

ya its actually so weird stingo..i was just looking up this ab workout from
P90X ( that at home workout program) anyways i managed to find the workout from the video n one move was the teaser but i didnt kno how to do it...u just hold the V position or go up and down?

Here's a .

I'll have to ask the instructor I take lessons from to show me the original version (that Joe Pilates created) as it I think it is a little different.

wow that looks like complete death...

ya theleip everyone says squats are so good for abs but im focused so much on how my legs are shaking uncontrollabley i dont seem to noticelol ..next time ill try to pay attention =)

Planks on forearms and rotating hips slowly side to side while keeping core tight. Its a killer. Side planks on forearm with other arm extended upward move hips up and down not touching the floor.

I second the pull ups.
