Is being skinny dangerous - even if fit

Just came back from a week's pre-season running camp.
I feel really good, even though we were only having rice and Soy milk all week, my performance has improved. Surprisingly, I've only lost 2 lbs, even after 30+ miles a day and <800 calories a day - feel really good.
The only difference in my appearence is that my abdomen has gone very tight and my leg and arm muscles are very defined.
We ran 8 major races, I won 4 and came 2nd and 3rd in the others and my couch has put me in the bigger races. But he wants me to drop to 100 lbs.
I'm happy with that as long I keep winning and running hard.
I've decided that I'm going to keep running - I love it too much to even cut back a little. I'll keep posting...

Me thinks you are either playing a game with us
or you are playing a very dangerous game with yourself.

You coach wants you to drop to 100? Why not 80??

Go see a doctor.

I refuse to believe any of this is true until I see a picture, I mean there is no way any "coach" would want someone to be 100 lbs at 6'3, if that is humanly possible without being on the verge of death. I was 6'4 170 with 145 lean, and everyone considered me to be pretty skinny. Please post a picture, after all this is in the pictures forum.

Agreed, your beating about the bush.

upload them somewhere like or
then post the link here. Or you could press the little picture of a picture when you go advanced post, put the url inn there, and it will show up on the forum

People wanted some pictures as proof - not just blogging.
That's my stomach and chest!

Im having a hard time believing thats you, if so i do not see how any sane person would is your height and your weight. Could not relies your putting yourself in an early grave.

Iv already posted two or three times in this thread about what you should do, if you are going to continue to ignore the advise we have given you and continue looking like some pencil drawn stick figure that dieing of starvation thats your problem. I wont loose sleep when you fall over dead soon enough because i know i did my "good" deed by trying to help, its not my fault you refused it.

Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.

Didn't Benjamin Franklin fly a kite in a electrical storm?
Dangerous!

...breaking news (18 March 2007); Talking about storms, went running this morning in sun, rain, howling gales, more rain and hailstones - and it was damn cold! 1.5 degrees c!
Can't wait for the summer, (in the UK, if we get one)

Have you got a better picture than the one you have posted?

Like a frontal picture of your chest/stomach?

Edit your face out of it if you dont want to post your face.

Can't really see much from the photo youve posted

Does anyone know of any cross country running camps in the Uk.
I'm planning to attend one, to help with my training?

You made a thread on the teen section saying that you were trying to help a kid who's in the same boat as you from doing anything harmful to himself such as running too much and yet you are doing these things. My question is, why are you trying to help somone when you can't help yourself.:D
