ok so I am an 18 years old(about 5'9) and plan on joining the navy. I currently weigh about 207 lbs and need to get that down by probably 30 more lbs before i feel im ready to go into the navy. My excercise plan is like this...
-Around 5pm i run to a mountain thats approx 1 mile from my house
-I hike the mountain which takes around 20 minuntes to reach the top then i hike down which usually takes about 10 more minutes
-I walk over to the drinking fountain and get a drink
-from there i run home taking a different path which is approx 1.2 miles
round trip is 45-50 minutes
before bed i always try to do pushups and crunchs
3 sets of 20 pushups and 3 sets of 60 crunchs (approximatly)
before i started running i weighed 235 and was winded after running a block so i HAVE seen some results buuuuuuuuut right now it seems i am continuing in a stalemate. i keep bouncing between 205-212. I believe it might be my daily diet/water intake. i only drink about 1-2 water bottles per day which im pretty sure i should be drinking more and i try to drink a slimfast every once in a while. BTW what is the majority opinion on slimfast and such? i also take multivitamins everyday on a regular basis.
ANY tips will be VERY appreciated. I currently do no have access to a gym and have no way of getting a membership right now.($$$)
