Pronated pull-ups training exercises please.

I want exercises to build up my pull-up ability consistently. I like sport climbing and it would help. I'm a bit too eager and find myself pulling a weight belt with 3 stone on it then, next week, not being able to do any! Stupid, but I need to know I'm not wasting time not making progress. I go to the gym 3 times a week.
Also, I don't know how far this message is going, but does anyone know about the world fitness event in Blackpool UK?

There hasnt been a world fitness meet in blackpool since 2005. Which is a shame because I would have liked to have gone myself.


With your pull ups, just take it easy. start off with 3sets of 10reps. dont do any more than that, even if you feel you can.
see how you feel the next day and then judge how many your going to do next time or if you want to add any weight.

for climbing, I find that finger strength is the most important. Your fingers will always fail before your biceps, and your biceps will fail before your lats.
maybe get your self a finger board.

as you can see they are really expansive, go and have a look at some in a shop, then try making your own.
