Where can I go to get my BMI, BF%, RMR, etc..

I want to go to a professional to get all my numbers, and how many calories I need per day to reach my goal and figure out exact number of calories, protein, carbs, fats, etc.. and write down every meal. Do I just look for a nutritionist in my area? or should I go to a personal trainer? I'm in Dallas if that helps. I don't want to go to a place that sells health food programs/meals. I don't want to think they are trying to rip me off.

Thanks

Hey, if you haven't found anyone yet, check out a regular personl trainer studio, they should have everything you need, though you COULD do it yourself. Call around and find out who will do it. I agree, don't go anywhere that will try to sell you the meals etc. Or look around for who does in-home training. Find someone you like and want to work with, because likely you will want to tweak your program here and there...

Try this site and see if you can find someone you want. Try to find a Health Fitness Instructor first... only because the actaul Personal Trainer certification is new... though I am sure a bunch of peopel got multiple certs...

Good luck

BMI and BMR you can get by using online calculators
BF% can probably be done by your gym
Your calorie Protein carb and fat intake you can do yourself

You don't need a professional to do all of this you know

I went to a nutrionist, and got all my stats. They also planned out my meals, and exercise program according to my goals. Thanks anyway for the information. I would recommend going to one if you're new. There are so many different exercise plans, and meal plans, not everybody's body is the same so something that works for one person might not for somebody else.

My meal plans and exercise plans are much different than what I started on my own. Another plan was that her meal plans are made so you don't feel like you're on a diet, so you never have to have a cheat meal. Everything I eat is nutrious and very good. I'd much rather have these meals instead of fast food. I'd also recommend going to a nutritionist that is also a personal trainer.
