frustrated with love handles

Yeap, so my diet is top notch, and I work my ass of, but these damn love handles on my lower back are killing me. Any suggestions?

They only look bad from behind on a back shot IMO

You look good man. I have them too, I guess it is just a matter of lower body fat. Maybe try some twisting crunches, and oblique work. Other than that you look great nice job.

dude, it just looks muscle to me. If you want to see love handles, then I should post some pictures. Either do some back workouts to clearly define your back muscles and/or lower your body fat or don't worry about it. You look great.

I hear you man. I am in pretty damn good shape but not as cut as you (abs)and I have the same issue. It sucks. :(

I eat very clean and work hard too.

The only time I wasn't a little soft in that area was when I was heavily into biking (6 days a week), my body fat had to have been around 8.5% or something. My body fat is around 9.5% now and I have the lower back softness too.

Keep at it and keep us posted, I need some tips.

honestly dude, i think you're nuts. If i looked like you id be exctatic. Look 1 post lower then yours to see my current pics, now those are love handles! haha.

It's nothing -- how much do you wanna bulk (if you are)? Don't compromise your goals beause you've got a little fat on you. I personally have it and I think it looks great on me...I guess because I draw a lot of my inspiration from Renaissance art...but that's just me.

Try dropping your BF % another point or two and see what happens..but if you're certain there's no room for improvement in your diet or training, then that leaves genetics. So, the only thing I can suggest is cosmetic surgery, if you're really intent.

Also, I'll add the obligatory "it's all in your head/it's barely noticeable/you're a sexy bitch, etc." :)

Edit: Uhh..I totally thought the ol' b word there would be replaced with asterisks. Is that okay? o_O

Thanks for the kind words :)
But it's something for me to focus on, I know they aren't really all that bad but they could get better is all.

Thanks again :D

typical stubborn fat. Try gradually going back to maintence level in calories and maybe stay there a week, then go back down, its a little trick to overcome plateaus.

I am not going to drop the amount I eat, I'd rather have the handles haha.

It's just the last to go I guess. As for my diet this is what I eat

Egg whites
wheat bread
Tuna
Chicken
Steak maybe 2 times a month
TONS of veggies
Protien Shakes
Flax seed oils
Penuts unsalted
Almonds
Fruits
Go Lean cereal
Turkey
CLA pills
Vitamin's

Thats just some of the things...

drop ur bf% a little bit more, and then there gOnnnee, but i dont really see anything wrong, lookin good
