Eggs

i know the yolks are high in cholesterol, but people say "unless your afraid of high cholesterol, you can eat egg yolks" so my question is, will eating it make you fatter?

It depends on your goals, and who you ask, but one egg contains only 1.5-2 grams of saturated fat, which isn't too bad. Just so long as you're keeping track of how much you take it, it doesn't matter where you get it from...IMO

if you have high cholesterol and have diabetes then I wouldb't advise having a diet high in eggs, however as the cholesterol in eggs is good cholesterol and also the fact that trans and saturated fats are actually the main reason for being having high cholestrol levels I would say that you should be fine having eggs yolks in your daily diet.
That said make sure you are getting good quality eggs pref organic and battery chicken diets are generally crap thus the quality of their eggs suffer.
Eggs also have a phospholipid called phosphatidylcholine which has been linked to rendering the cholesterol unabsorbable so much of the cholesterol is not taken up by the body.

edit. Also make sure you cook your eggs, no rocky eeating raw eggs crap as the protein in eggs is more bioavailable when cooked

just do the egg whites.

I have trouble getting enough of everything with shakes myself..

Besides the bits I get from produce, Egg whites are my main source of non shaked protein myself.. , pretty much a daily staple besides an occassional piece of fresh fish or some type of lean as I can manage meat ( besides beef which doesn't really do it for me neither unless it's a no-fat quality sausage ).
For the amount of eggs you need to actually get enough protein, the yellows are not going be ideal for someone trying to maintain a really low bf.

For extra protein or flavour, throw in some sardines or a quality dry fried rinsed smokey tuna with celery and tomatoes and equal and ginger etc.

The eggs whites are a good choice.
