Hi from Canada, new here and have a question Tks

I recently started kickboxing and want to know if there is a formula to figure out how many Carbs and Proteins and Fats " I " need daily for my weight and Body mass. I dont' want to follow some generic principle as I don't believe everyone is the same. All our bodies require diff. ratio's.
Can someone let me know? Tks.

honestly, you are going to have to eat more clean calories, 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fat. This is a good spot to start. You being a kick boxer I know your training sessions can be very tense. I have trained a with a few MMA and kick boxing guys. You are very right that everyone is different, and their requirments are different. But this is a good place to start until you reach you peak with this program. Also what is your diet like now. How much and what do you eat. What type of weight training do you do?

Are you working as an athlete or taking a kickboxing class?

Carbs
3.6gr carb x body wt(lbs)= grams carb/day
For a 140 pound person this is about 504 grams per day or about 2,000 carbohydrate calories and 720 grams or 2,900 carbohydrate calories for a 200-pound person.

Daily protein recommendations for serious strength athletes are about 0.6 to 0.8 grams per pound of body weight. That's about 90 to 115 grams of protein/day for the 140-pound athlete and 128 to 164 grams for those weighing 200 pounds.

And then obviously you still need fat, but be sure it is less than 30% of what you eat.

While I could go look this up in a book somewhere, I got it from About.com Good luck
