You use the program laying down right with head phones and the cd lets off varying tones and pitches in each ear in a sequence that, as you unwind or go to sleep is meant to sublimenely program or rather active a certain nueological frequency that makes you relax and stay relaxed longer .. because it's deeper and the sequence of negative stimuli to pull you ouut of it has to be longer than normal because of where you started from.. youre likely to handle things better.
I perrrsonally prefer to just meditate through my work outs or take a few minutes during the day to breath properly and clear my head .. but either way you do it I guess.
If you can't get there on your own, it's an okay tool.
