Oatmeal

I have plenty of plain oatmeal... but I can't stand it plain. So usually I end up spooning on the brown sugar and raisins.

Does anyone have any healthier ideas on how to make oatmeal appealing?

oatmeal made with skim milk plus vanilla whey is a daily staple!

also, i like oatmeal with meal with peanut butter and honey.

For breakfast, I eat the steel cut oats, they a little bigger and chewier, and I can sometimes eat them plain, cooked in water, they're that good. I occasionally add a drop of honey to sweeten them up.

I used to eat oats (and other porridge) with a bit of sugar and a bit of butter. Makes it takes 110%

These days I don't put in neither, I just take it with plenty of milk.

There is nothing healthier than oatmeal in the world, don't spoil it ;)

What I've found is that it's best uncooked. I just blend up 1/2 cup oatmeal with 2 scoops of tasty ON whey, 6 ice cubes, and 10 ounces of water, and its amazingly good, and ridiculously good for me. :D

I like steel cut oats, made with water, and sprinkled with raisins. Add a cup of milk and a cup of juice and that's a great meal plus a banana and that's my breakfast most days.

Add half a scoop of vanilla whey, half a tbsp of natural peanut butter and half a banana. Sometimes I'll skip the PB and use a tbsp of milled flax instead

My daily wake up:

My daily wake up: 35g oatmeal, 35g vanilla whey powder, 10g almonds, 12g dried prunes, 12 g dried apricots, cinnamon. Awesome!
*made with hot water

Sounds great! Good Protein, Carb, Fat source!. Every morning I drink a whey protein shake with milk and Oatmeal. Its a great meal to add quality mass. I had that meal twice today..

I can't believe no one mentioned fresh blueberries yet.

I prefer natural honey over splenda or anything like that, but if I use sugar, I will use just a little but of natural cane sugar.

Dried cranberries and walnuts/pecans is also a nice option too

Fresh fruit (if you have it, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries all good). Usually it's oatmeal, one spoon of brown sugar, fresh fruit, and a couple of walnuts ground up on the top. Very good stuff!

so i got scottish cut oats the other day and I'm not really a fan. I think Irish cut are much better, what do you guys think?
