squat critique

guys, ive read lots of opinions on squat techniques and finally have a video of one of my heavier lifts. i generally squat shoulder width but have heard that wider is the way to go. any opinions on form here? the only thing i really can notice is the slight knee buckling on the way up (iirc its the abductor muscles? how do i strengthen those with what i have?). thx

Push your knees out the whole time and drop in the hips before breaking the knees.

agreed. You're knees go inwards. and like said, break the hip first.

Other than that, it looked good! :)

by dropping hips first do you mean lean back more? i keep watching it and am not exactly sure what that means. does anyone have a video link i could look at?

i have a feeling i will be dropping the weight to get form down again... ;)

Yeah you should be almost leaning back. Light speed box squats can really help form.

Stick you're butt out before you're knees ;) thats the difference between knee break and hip break squat
