Is cardio absolutely necesary?

Im currently cutting, doing a proper diet, have been losing some pounds, working out 3x a week, everything is fine, just having problem adding cardio to my non workout days... I get home quite late, tired from school, sometimes its rainy, and I dont have time to do sprints or nothing... Im still losing weight and feeling great, i know cardio will boost the results, but is it absolutely necesary? I do it every time I can... But I cant ALWAYS... so, what do u think? Or maybe like a 10 minute or 20 minute cardio workout u can recommend indoors? THanks in advance guys...

Cardio is not nessecary. If you're already loosing weight at an acceptable rate, theres no reason to add cardio to loose more.

Losing weight without cardio is possible, if your workout is intense enough. I believe it was circuit training that was compared to cardio. It was found that a circuit training workout was equivalent to walking on the treadmill.

Loosing weight is a function of diet, not cardio. Eat a caloric deficit and you will loose weight, no cardio required.

I agree that some cardio is good if you want to promote optimal health and fitness. A 20 minute or less HIIT session, 2x a week is plenty of cardio for the average person.

For now if you're getting results that are making you happy, stick with it. When results start to slow down, and your body gets used to having less calories per day, you're going to need to start doing cardio in my opinion. Alrthough diet is the most important part, cardio is right next to it.

Yeah, there would be no point in being the burliest dude ever but had to stop every 10 seconds on a sprint to catch your breath - A healthy heart is a big thing.
