How much muscle can you lose in a week?

Ok, well I got sick and tooka week off from the gym. When I had left I was around 225. I checked my weight last night, and this morning. Im around 218. Is this possibly ALL muscle? This actually happened before. I took a week off monthas ago and I came back lighter than I was. What gives?
 
How long were you training for before you took the week off?
 
No, I pretty much stay on a deficeint. With a cheat meal once a week. High in protein. I try not to eat past 6 or 7 unless Im going to be up for a while.
 
I just tried a pair of 38 waist pants that were a little tight on me a few weeks ago. They seem to fit nicer now.
 
around 3-4 months

One week off will not hurt progress at all if you have been training for this long before taking a break. It may actually be to your benefit as it will give your muscles time to heal. Just make sure your diet is in check during the off time.

Were you taking any supps while going to the gym that you stopped during your week off?

I have a week off every 2-3months to give me a chance to completly heal and evaluate my progress. I always go back stronger after a long rest.

but I would always make sure you eat well.
 
Sounds like a good rest to me - a week off is a good idea after 3 months or so as long as you eat like you normally do.
