motivation

i like to listen to eminem songs like till i collapse, lose yourself, sing for the moment etc because they motivate me to run more

for example...

eminem - till i collapse

Cause sometimes you just feel tired. You feel weak. And when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up. But you gotta search within you, try ta find that inner strength and just pull that **** out of you, and get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

eminem - lose yourself

Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

Yo, His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drop bombs, but he keeps on forgetting
What he wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his mouth, but the words won't come out
He's chokin, how everybody's chokin now
The clock's run out, time's up over, bloah!
Snap back to reality, Oh there goes gravity
Oh, there goes Rabbit, he choked
He's so mad, but he won't give up that easy
No, he won't have it , he knows his whole back city's ropes
It don't matter, he's dope
He knows that, but he's broke
He's so stacked that he knows
When he goes back to his mobile home, that's when it's
Back to the lab again yo
This whole rap city
He better go capture this moment and hope it don't pass him

lol..eminem wack as hell bro. I think you may want something with a quicker tempo, like Dipset. Or for hardcore training, some Jedi Mind Tricks wouldn't go amiss.

metallica's music is great for running to; especially their speed medal, and the solos...man they send adrinallen through my veins.
somtimes i will listen to chill stuff like blues and jack johnson

Dipset?
Have you ever actually listened to their rhymes? Some of the time it sound like a drunk 7 year old with the audio slowed down. At least Eminem can spit. Dipset could never touch the rhyming skill of Em.. I don't personally listen to either of them (maybe a little Em). I will agree with you on the Jedi Mind tricks. Eve of destruction featuring Gza is a favorite of mine. Thats actually a wicked track for the gym, gets me f*ckin' AMPED! :D
"Those who dare to oppose us will stand knee deep in the blood of their children".. ouch ;)

Yea maybe dipset are a bad example but JMT are permanantly on fire and anything affiliated. My all time JMT track is War Ensemble..and Three Immortals is some deep stuff. Anything underground is great to train to. Gettin my new mp3 player tomorrow.

I hate dance music in the gym, but sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. I wish they'd remove the tv from the gym though..what's the point of a tv at a gym, il never know.

Any kind of adrenaline pumping songs will do for me. Dance seens weird for weigh lifting maybe during a cardio workout. Is that just me?

Music are like a** holes...everybody's got one.

Oh wait...that's opinions. Well, you know what I mean. Everyone's music opinions are like a** holes. Or something.

Errrr... Nice analogy? Anyways I usually don't listen to music when I work out just because I don't like getting my headphones sweaty. If I could I would probably listen to some inspiring rap while lifting or some technoish stuff.

'Eye of the Tiger'. Only workout song you'll ever need. :D Corny but it works for me.

Besides 'Eye of the Tiger' I listen anything you would normally see someone headbanging too. Every once in a great while I break out the bag pipe music. :)

A serious workout yeilding the insane results I demand requires God's assistance. As such, I listen to Chris Cornell's sermons on my broken Ipod. His power is so fierce that no manmade device can truly capture a small piece of his essence without malfunctioning. Oh yeah.

i think rap music is best for adrenaline pumping, i think 50 cent- in da club is good and anything by eminem... well you cant go wrong!
