Well, first of all you shouldn't feel like a cow. :p You look great. If you're keeping your diet in check along with your cardio then you don't need to worry. Good luck on your goals, and good luck with your disorder. I wish you the best. :)

Meg, first of all I wish you luck in getting your disorder under control, I am sure it is very tough. But do what you hav to do! Congrats on getting it under control.

As for your body, I think you look fantastic and that you should be proud of your body, sure we all on this board feel or want to change our physical appearance somewhat for whatever reasons.

But honey, you look damn good!

Meg it looks like you are doing good. If you want to make more physical changes I would suggest lifting. Cardio is great but to tighten up your body and burn more calories at rest you need to add some muscle mass. You could go for something like HGM or get the New Rules of Lifting and do Fatloss 1, 2 and 3. I know the side effects from the mes suck but they are really important to balance you. It won't take you long to find a groove that works for you, but you are doing great right now. How is your nutrition, that will be one of the biggest factors for body recompostion for you. What worked before may not work now just because your body is different and the extinsic factors are different. Good luck with your goals, I'm confident you will do well.

Thanks everyone for your responses, I still think I look disgusting though :)

My goals are basically to tighten up... well and lose some too. I just wish I had a flat stomach and that my legs weren't big enough to conquer king kong.

My eating habits are really sporadic (which I know is bad) but I can't help because of the bipolar thing. I know many people here probably don't know the first thing about bipolar but I'm a rapid cycler and can be manic one day and depressed the next. What I eat really depends on if I'm manic or depressed, amount wise. Also medications change the way I eat. I was a vegetarian before I started one and then I was like a pure carnivore (it was disgusting). Right now I'm back to mostly lean proteins. I like my natural PB, fruits, veggies, smoothies.

Anyway... thanks Mellow it IS hard. In fact it's drive me insane!! Not that I'm not officially insane, haha.

Ok well there it is, how do I get a pretty flat stomach and thighs that aren't so, uh, huge.

I guess a woman needs to tackle on this one.. Girls say how there thighs are huge, and tummy is out there.. I guess I speak for all guys when I say how we don't see it. We never see it. You look great already. Hell thats the ideal body right there to me.

Yeah insanity kinda hard to reach.. although I heard after 100 hits of acid.. your legally insane.

Your condition is tough to handle.. Old friend of mines father had that... And you can see how most of the time it would drain him out. Like Jenn suggested.. getting some weights in your routine will tighten the skin up.. As for the excess fat you claim to have in the ab area and thighs.. Record all caloric intake... and try to enhance your cardio workout.. I would suggest HIIT if you like to run. Hunny proper healthy eating, and cardio will do the trick.. but since you are at your last few % of bodyfat.. its tough to breach it where your abs will show. Be consistant, and don't give up that goal.

Honestly if you can maintain how you are already.. thats hawt. Good luck!

I'm taking the guys opinions on this one. You look pretty hot already! With a little bit of work, you'll be smokin(and I don't mean cigarettes)!!!

Good luck with your fitness and disorder! Remember, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

I don't see a major issue with your body Meg. I do think more than anything, you need to add a little more lean muscle mass. that in itself will burn off some fat.
its what I'd call a minor body recomposition...trade off a little fat and add muscle in its place.

hard work, and in 2 months you could have the kind of body I think you're after: slender, "toned" muscles, but not all bulky/masculine.

You already look fantastic meg! Just like it has already been mentioned...a little hard work and a clean diet....man you would be on fire.

Good luck with everything, keep workin hard!!!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I've actually been in a psych hospital the past 10 days so that's why I went awall. Ok so when you say tiny changes you mean lifting or cardio or both? Thanks to all of you who have confidence in my body. I'm trying to do the same.
