Knee exercises

I need some exercises that will help to tone up my knees - as I seem to suffer from fat knees! At the moment I am just starting to run, I do a fair bit of walking and do squats.

I started doing hindu squats after messing up one of my knees. The injured knee hurt for about two weeks after I started doing them, but felt great after that. Also great for the rest of your legs and as cardio if you do them properly.

uhm what's a hindu squat?

Haha, right. Just google it. The first site that comes up has a good explanation with pics. Start off slow, but if you get into a good rhythm it ends up being good cardio.

have fun

hey i remember trying to do those things. i tried out those pushups too. i forget the name but they kill!!!! they work you out good. i think they are hindu pushups. i remember bruce lee did them so i wanted to try them out and damn do they work. thanks for reminding me about them heh

If you have fat knees and want to rectify the situation, then first realize there is no such thing as spot reducing. You're going to have to lower your body fat to get rid of that. You can achieve this by doing good cardio and eating a clean diet. That being said, the hindu squats are a good cardio, but so are squat thrusts, running, swimming, and biking.

wow those hindu squats are awesome!! i haven't tried the hindu pushups tho
