one handed push ups

i need advice, ive been working out for the past 8-9 months, mostly on upper body. I usually work my chest hard and have pretty strong pecs for my size and age. But no matter how hard i try i cant do a one handed push up. Yet i was watching and episode of "MADE" on mtv about a girl who wanted to become a female fitness preformer, and was albe to do several one handed push ups in only 2 weeks. Am i doing something wrong?
 
its all about balance bud

try to create a triangle formation when your doing the pushup, one hand close by yourside of course and one in the middle pushing up and down.

thats how i do it :] and of course. at first, it may be difficult, it gets used to.

think of the tripod.
