Back injury

Yesterday I was doing back squats and on my last rep I felt something weird as I was coming up. After I racked the weight I felt pain in my middle/left side of my back and it hurts when I twist my midsection and feels tight in general. I don't know if it hurts deadlifting yet, I dont think it will, but I'm testing it tomorrow just in case.

Basically, my question is, should I stick to front squats and leg press for leg workouts until it heals?
 
if i were you, yes i'd avoid stressing your back more. allow it to heal imo
 
I'm probably going to test out what hurts and what doesn't with a few ligth sets of different things today. I don't think I pulled it, it feels a bit better already. I should tke it easy on my back though, it seems like most of the men in my family have back complications.
 
Yes. Basically avoid anything that causes pain in that area till it can heal. Anything that causes pain to that area will keep it irratated.
 
Bluntly, we aren't doctors, and if you feel you're injured, you might want a professional opinion. Otherwise, lay off until it stops being an owwie. ; )
 
Haha, the pain is already gone, I thought it was going to stick around for longer because it hurt pretty bad. BTW junkfood I always do warm up sets on big lifts like squats. Thanks for the replies everyone
