Terrible day at the gym.. possible reason?

I had a terrible day at the gym today, for 80% 2x3 snatch i only got 2 reps out of 3, my grip was failing and my shoulders felt weak when i held it overhead, my legs felt a bit done too which is weird, since i just had my 2 day break.
I was thinking if it could have something to do with me just trying the 100 reps to bigger muscles with BB rows, 50 reps morning and 50 reps last night before bed, the BB rows kinda hit my rear delts a bit (wasnt going near faliure) I also did a dynamic stretch session this morning, just some front kicks, side kicks and back kicks.. some lat, chest, back and shoulder stretches. I was just wondering if this, together could have resulted in me having a bad workout?
I know dynamic stretching isent suppose to fatigue or affect your workout like that, but combined with the 100 reps to bigger muscles thing could it be that i overdid it? also when i hit 55kg snatch (which i did fine last monday), i just barley made it, i considered dropping the weight.

Now i know some days you just have bad days at the gym, but somehow today just felt different than that.
Maybe i should just drop the 100 reps to bigger muscles and do my dynamic stretches in the afternoon, AFTER my workout, instead of in the morning before my workout?

What did your pre-workout meal consist of?

it was just breakfast, two slices of bread, with brown cheese on it, if your not norwegian you probobly wont know what it is.
It could be that, since i usually have breakfast and atleast one more meal before i workout, but i dident feel tiered when i hit the gym.

your meal definately had something to do with it. Also, did you eat good the day before or do anything that would cause you to be weaker than normal?

Karky,
that breakfast doesn't sound like much protein. dunno what brown cheese is, but aside from sounding god awful, cheese tends to have more fat that protein.

(my wife's family celebrates their norwegian history with lutefisk and lefsa)

yeah brown cheese is just .. yeah, high on fat:p not too little protein. but i guess it could have something to do with it. like i said, usually i get atleast 2 meals before i go. I drink lots of milk though, i bet i could cover my whole protein need just by the milk i drink :p 2-3 big glasses atleast with each bread meal. Its about 8-9g's of protein in one of those glasses of milk :p

Maybe i should continue with my dynamic stretching AND the 100 reps to bigger muscles im doing, and ill see on wendsday, ill get inn more meals before i go workout and if i feel weak then too, i know its not the food.

and the day before i eat good. I just assument the 100 reps to bigger muscles and the dynamic stretching could be the reason, but like i said, im gonna find that out next time i hit the gym!

Off topic:
Have you ever tasted "lutefisk"? its horrible.. :p "lefsa" is good though :p Where in norway are their family from? up north? "lefsa" is what we say up north, in the south they say "lefse" :p

Brunost er supermat!! :D ;)

ps. havregryn skader ikke heller vettu

no one in her family who is living has even been to norway...we're talking several generations ago is when they came off the boat. like, great great grandmother or something.

no, I won't touch lutefisk. the fact that it is 'jellied white fish' should be enough to turn anyone off.

lefse is ok. pretty bland, like fat free tortilla's :) of course, they cheat and use instant potatoes instead of boiling htem and mashing. this stems from teh fact that no female in their clan is capable of making smooth mashed potatoes. usually there are firm, uncooked chunks the size of walnuts floating about.
