Finally Saw Something

Alright every1 well i'm around 5'10 and was 169 and to many people and probably myself i have good biceps and triceps and all my dad and a lot of people say that i have real good back muscles and my legs pecs and stuff are all good. I am 17 and and started dieting with low calories and running a few miles 5-6 times a week and usually play basketball every other day for an hour. I abs are so so such is when i sweat i can see the top four alright and when i lay down in bed i flex them they are bulging so obvioulsy they are there just under that small layer of fat. people told me it would take a while to see fat loss cuz i dont have a lot to lose. I have been doin wat i said above for about a month and finally started losing weight. In the last four weeks i went from 169 to 164 and its the best feeling in the world cuz its hard for people with less fat to lose weight. What is the approximate weight you think i should get to in order to see those abs. I was thinkin like 155 or something. Also i hear the best time to weight urself is in the morning

I think 155 is a little skinny, 160 is a good weight. When doing ab exercises add weight to them, the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn, This is not spot reduction, all you want to do is to build the ab muscles up, so in turn it will help your body burn more fat. Also doing deadlift will help strengthen your whole core, inturn building more muslce, and burning more fat. On another note, cardio is the better one to do early in the morning, burns more calories. Weight training would not be as productive unless you ate about an hour befor working out. You won't have the energy to do a good weight training workout if you do right when you wake up. But you will burn more fat, but it will be less productive when it comes to building muscle. Good luck with your goals

alright yea i understand what your saying about the whole muscle work out and stuff in the morning but i thought it would take a lil more weight loss to get rid of that small fat under and belly button...because i look at some of these boxers and some of them are around 158 and their 6 pack stands out great so thats y i thought 155

you must understand that is a highly trained athlete, trains 3-8 hours a day, very high cardio session, lots of calories burned. this is why they look the way they do. There is no quick fix for anything, hard work is what does it. so burning more calories is what you need, so that is why i sugested early morning cardio, hiit cardio if you can do it. More muscle, more calories burned. I recomended the deadlift because of the amount of muscle activation it requires. hope this helped you

Agree with ffx, add more muscle and that will help burn up that fat you wish to get rid of. I am about the same height and 155 is really skinny.
I was once at 145 and now I am finally up to 177 and look and feel 100% better.
