need help /w my goal

ok this is what i want to do first:

1. Lose my gut! too many munchies and sitting down watching TV/games.

2. muscle mass and strength.

3. tone up

I really have no idea about training honestly. I recently signed up for a fitness club near my house.

what do you suggest for a workout (like a workout plan) I do if I wanna go from #1 to #3?

do I just do lots of cardio first , then the weight machines ( I really don't know how to use the free weights at all!).

I'm so confused about all the working out stuff.

Dieting I know more about.

I'm 5"8 140~145lbs. and 18 years of raging hormones!

Your in the same possition as many many people. While it would be nice for us to give you everything you need to beggin your training it would be far better for you to buy some books and magazines and get a personal training session.

On this forum I cant give you everything that you need, I dont konw you or your body, I dont know how fit or strong you are and I cant see your technique. Please go to a personal trainer for 1 session so they can help you get started. You will be better of buying mens health magazine and following the workout they give. It will be a safe workout for you to try and then you can tell us how you get on, plus its basic, and has pictures.

This forum is more for answering questions than writting full programs.

good luck

Don't make excuses you can learn how to use free weights - machines suck.
