Clean Bulk

I hear this term alot, what exactlly is a clean bulk?

Is it Eating alot of healthy foods while doing cardio and weight lifting?

Would you suggest this more for someone who is thin?
 
you can clean bulk where you try and gain muscle with minimal fat gain and tghere are those silly bulks where you put on 30pds with 20pds fat...obviously the clean bulk will take longer but requires less leaning down and is more sustainable

Cereal – 10:00am
Pasta – 1:00pm
Grapes – 2:30pm
Penut Butter on Toast - 4:15pm
Grapes – 5:00pm
Pasta with Prawns – 6:15pm
Cereal – 9:45pm

I ate that today, just thought I'd keep record.
 
i'd not want to eat peanut butter as it is really fatty in saturated fats ><" the toast, is it wheat ? whole grain?
pasta with prawns, good source of carbs, but i'd watch the sauce that your putting on top of the pasta. seafood is good for you though =]

whats ur whole day caloric intake on average?

I haven't a clue about my caloric intake, no idea how I'd go about finding out either, lol.

If that's your diet, it needs help. You need to eat a protein and carb at EACH meal, for starters. I also don't see any vegetables there either. At the least jack up your protein intake and add some veggies to your diet. JMO

That is just today, lmao, I don't eat the same thing everyday. Anyway, the cereal had fruits in it. :p
 
Yeah you def need more protein. It seems like you are dieting to lose weight rather than dieting to put on muscle....even lean muscle. You also need more veggies as well or at least drink a big glass of V8 if you can stand it. Im one of the weird folks who loves that stuff so i get a lot of my vegs that way.

My dad drinks V8, I can't stand the stuff. XD
 
Then eat some real veggies, but the main point is even if you are trying to put on lean bulk, you need way more protein and calories.
 
Like i said, veggies are not your biggest problem...enough with the freaking veggies!!!!!!!

You need more CALORIES and PROTEIN.
