woah... asymmetric abs!

Hey,
I'm getting more and more defined lately, which is a good thing of course. Now that my abs is really poking through I've recognized that it is freaking asymmetric! The muscles on the right are slightly more defined I'd say- but the thing is that those on the left look like they're arranged differently. Differently placed cuts. I know that the abs is one muscle.. weird. Maybe it has something to do with the back? Or with the way I exercise (although I don't think so.. and both sides seem equally strong more or less)?
Or is it just the way it is, meaning something genetic :)
It doesn't look too weird, I was just wondering...
