Incline and decline bench

Hello,
I was wondering if decline and incline bench are essential as opposed to just doing normal bench and if so, how often should i do incline and or decline bench.

Not essential, but incline once and a while isn't bad. Personally, this isn't the case for most, I notice better size gains on incline (I've tested myself).. But flat bench can cover a chest workout just fine. And it depends on your routine.
