self disipline

how can i develop some self disipline? i cant hold a diet for more than a day because i cannot tell myself that i cant eat my favorite and unhealthy foods anymore...
 
lent is about to start, cut out 75% of the things you know you cant eat and tell everyone you are doing it.

there's no point starting out expecting to be super-healthy right away, it takes time, work and you'll learn what your body need in time.

even the most hardcore gym go-ers treat themselves regularly - you'll read about the 'treat meal' they have once a week.

this is too much to soon for a newbie, try 3 cheats a week (smaller cheats mind, not 3 big pizzas) and do plenty of exercise. when you understand the hard work, you feel less inclined to ruin it all with a McSomething.

i still get the pangs but you learn to substitute and mostly its just boredom. i just found out that fig rolls, my favourite biscuit, are ok if you have 2-3 everynow and again. without the little pleasures id never stick to the rest of it and be in an even worse situation.
