Should it be taking this long to heal? :?

Okay, on my first day to the gym, when I basically walked around testing all the gadgets out, I basically worked every muscle.

However, I wasn't serious on it, and I only basically did a few reps just to see how everything worked.

The next day, my body is KILLING me. It's been 3 days, and my triceps are still killing me. Honestly. I've been stuffing my body with protein, and sleeping 10 hours just to try to recover. The rest of my body is good, by my triceps are literally DEAD.

I can barely extend my arm. <_<;

How long can this take to heal? Because I wanted to go everyday to workout, but this already cost me 3 days.

Hey Nobody,

This can last up to a week, but don't worry, after the first few weeks you will rarely get sore. Probably best that you don't go every day, especially in the beginning. You will end up over training and feeling like crap, even if you are splitting up the muscle groups. Ease yourself into it, gradually increasing the intensity. Try to make it fun in the beginning.
 
yeah, I did a small tricep workout on thursday....and they still sorta hurt to day....I lvoe the feeling because triceps are my favorite muscle...
 
My favorite muscle has got to be the pecs. It's only when you can't have them that you miss them, isn't that the way it goes?
 
My favourite body part is the eyes man.

I man, when you work out your eyes, you're just like;

"Whoa. I need to go to sleep!"

Eyes rock.
