sorry to get off topic

I've been practicing muay thai (thai boxing) for about 7 years, started when I was 13. I train with Mike Miles out of Calgary. You may have heard of him.

Mike Miles rocks. I have seen him fight a couple of times in exhibition matches, he destroyed his opponents. I don't think he even got hit.

Been Practicing Martial arts since 1963,,,started in Shotokan,,but have had many changes in systems,,and many breaks in training due to injuries, but still practice. The systems ive trained in the most are Shotokan, Tang Soo Do and Go-Ju Ryu. Have practiced many others, but lean toward the traditional systems.. Now with the American Japanese Shotokan Assn. and practice Yang and Wu Tai Ji Quan. Love all martial arts, with special regards towards tradional systems.. I got super busy with the art stuff - my work is in a show in LA this week, and work has been hectic too. I'm training less and looking for other workout ideas, so I thought I'd hang out here for a while.

Not gettin married until June 3rd. Besides, He knows I'm not talkin to handsome men, i'm talking to you. :p :p :D

In case you haven't noticed, I am a cardboard box. With an afro. And in case you haven't noticed, you are now aroused.

A show in LA this week? Like a demo for your MA, or for some kind of other equally crazy thing?

Actually, I didn't notice you were cardboard. that's kinda hot, in a UPS sort of way. :D

When I'm not kung-fooing, I do digital art - it's that stuff that I have a show for. check it out sometime, my website is in my sig.

hi,

I ve been a self styled martial artist since 3 years learning through self discovery and trial and error.
All of my techniques and kicks were self designed and i had to work on every aspect to develop my speed and power and foot work.

Hell i thought some of my kicks were unique to my style until i checked the internet only to discover they had their roots in various martial arts like kung fu, taekwondo and cappoeira. those were fancyfull days;
Currently i working on close quarter combat and a combination of western boxing and karate.
I intend to refine my skills further by joining a class either in Krav maga or Jkd and a grappling art to fill in some wrestling experience

I am mostly just into fitness. I have a blue belt in shotokan Karate and a bit of kickboxing experience. I have progressed far more since I left formal training to train alone. I know throws and submissions and spend loads of time each week doing shadow boxing, bag work and massive kicking drills in addition to my bodybuilding routine. my ametuer record is 1-0-0 KO in san shou

Where did you learn your san sau? Or did you just compete in a san sau event with your kickboxing experience?
