A Fat Butt

Alright, this is embarassing, but I think I have a fat butt. I haven't worked out in a long time and it seems like all the donuts have gone nowhere but my butt.... girls say that I have a nice butt because I actually have one, unlike most guys that have nothing, but I don't like the way it looks. I'm pretty tall and very skinny, so the butt just does not match! I want a thin butt!

I know that a good body is made in the kitchen, not the gym, but while i'm working on my diet, is there anything specific I can do to target that area? I don't want to build lots of muscle but is there an exercise that can burn a little fat down there?
 
No, you cant spot reduce...

the bad thing about the whole thing is, the first place fat goes, will be the last place it comes off of... So although you may not be seeing results, stick it out, you will.
 
Completely agree with above. A good exercise program, and an excellent nutrtion program will help you lose some of that fat. Just be patient and consistent.

I would have to disagree. Squats are one of the best exercises you can do for your hips, butt and thighs. That's a great exercise that will target that area.

Disagree with what? No one said squats weren't great. You're right, they are! But they do not help spot reduce fat. Nothing does, because it's just physiologically impossible. Our bodies don't work that way.
 
But a muscular fat butt looks so much better than an untrained fat butt!
Actually a muscular fat butt looks even better than an untrained slim butt.
Droopy butts ain't sexy, no matter how fatless they are.
 
yes, but squat still wont help you loose weight in that area ;)
i would say a good trained, not fat but is sexy, but offcource, a woman who actually has a but is nice, dont make it dissapear completley:p like mine:p (im not a woman tough)
 
Okay solution to all

I have a DVR, I don't know if most or some of you have one, BUTT they are life savers! I can't really make it to the t.v. @ 8:00 in the morning(central time). I have been checking out FIT TV -when I get a chance.At that time slot there is a show called ALL STAR FITNESS. Each day they have a different cardio workout that you can do, each day a different person instructing.It is the best thing since toliet paper! Anytime I want a good BUTT workout I turn it on. After 15 mins. , I am sweating, without the sweat suit! So for those without a DVR , release your time and spend it how you wanna, get one, about 15$ a month ! And believe me -check out FIT TV. It might answer your questions and get you moving, its worked for me.
They have a hip hop day- you learn hip hop moves, kinda hard at first,butt then it all comes together. I think today it was Indian(from India) dancing, and yes that is a workout. ALL STAR FITNESS is worth looking at,try it and tell me what you think? ..... okay, so I can go on and on. :rolleyes: Thanks
