Your Top 3 health tips:

I'll start with mine:

1. Eat in a quiet room with no distractions (TV, music, family) and savour your food.

2. Dont go into the gym without knowing EXACTLY what you are going to do.

3. If you like to run, set yourself a time (say 30 mins) and always run for that length of time, no more, no less. You can vary btwn walking, jogging, running and sprinting. As you get fitter you can do more running and less walking and jogging. This also allows you to take it easy if you are lacking energy on a certain day. Only when you can run full pelt for 30 mins can you increase the time.

1. sleep at least 7-8 hours every day

2. avoid trans fats and high fructose corn syrup (espeically soda pop)

3. always push yourself hard, but within your limits when training, and always use strict form

1) Be realistic - Don't underestimate the effects of overtraining.

2) Be organized - Keeping fit and healthy is a way of life.

3) Remember, Nutrition is as important as the exercise.

1- it's not what you're doing in the gym, it's what you're doing when you're NOT in the gym!

2- get up; get moving!

3- if you want to get stronger and more fit, it's simple:
pick up heavy stuff and move it around.

PS-great thread idea!
