Your favorite kick butt exercise music?

I tend to listen to :

Club Floorfillers - 80s club classics (a great mix of old club tunes, not usually my kind of music but sure gets me moving in the gym!)

and a couple of Boogaloo mixes or stuff like Pencil Full of Lead by Paolo Nutini...good beats, great horn sections and makes you jump all over the place!

I thought I would share my Ipod playlist I listen to everyday when I run or I am working out ... Good idea sharing the iPod list. :)

I just use the the option on YouTube channels to make playlists (good option for the iPod-less of us who work out at home... just me?). I put together 40 min mixes with 4-5 minute slower songs at the beginning and the end to warm up and cool down to for my mixed cardio and weight workouts.

The first one's very Pop-y
Blue Foundation - Eyes on Fire (UKFDubstep); Missy Elliot - Smooth Chick; Shakira - She Wolf; Christina Aguilera - Keeps Gettin Better; Britney Spears - Piece of Me; Rihanna - S&M; Christina Aguilera - Express; Missy Elliot - Hot Boyz; Shakira - Loca; Alica Keys - No One.

And the second's heavier
Cee Lo Green - Bright Lights Bigger City; Garbage - Cherry Lips; Republica - Ready to Go; YoungBloodz - I'mma Shine; Ciara (w/ Missy Elliot) - Work; Swizz Beatz - Money in the Bank; Torqux & Twist - 2012; Mustard Pimp - Cherry; Missy Ellot - We Run This; Air - Universal Traveller.

Nice Patsfan. I love! Silversun Pickups.

I find that for my runs, I need a real mix of pace/ intensity. I personally can't pack a playlist with 1 hour of Primus-like drum beats, just pounding away. I would have a frickin' heart attack haha.

I have a lot of Foo Fighters, Silversun Pickups, Tool (stinkfist is so good for working out), STP, some new stuff, like Kanye, Busta Rhyme, etc. but mostly Rock.

I have 3 playlists. My "go to" which is the one I use 4 of 5 days a week. My "long run" which is made custom for each long run, and my "retired" which are songs I have retired from the previous 2 playlists. I update my music once a week, since I run about 35 miles/ week, so I need it to be dynamic.

Just checked my retired playlist, and there is a solid representation of System of A down, and Chili Peppers.. great running music (Chili Peppers)

For me, I have 2 songs that really get me pumped up more than anything

Green Day - Brain Stew
D12 - Fight Music (not for the faint of heart)

Some old Linkin Park stuf is great too.
