You are what you eat! Sausage/cheese/burgers

Hiya, I watched "You are what you eat" today. Are pork sausages, cheese and burgers fattening. I like all these..lol...I have pork sausages, 1/2 fat chedar and 100% beef burgers...the sausage and burgers i cook on a grilling machine to get rid of all the fat..I thought i was being good by doing this.
 
those grilling machines don't get rid of all the fat, as far as I know, there's still some left in the meat, otherwise you'd be eating a hockey puck.

Beef burgers I have once a week or so, but generally get the 95 percent lean, at the very minumm 93 percent lean... anything less than that I try to avoid just becuase it's higher in saturated fat

Pork sausage is high in saturated fat, but a once in a while treat won't kill you.

I woul think as long as you have balnce in your diet, and enough fiber, that you shouldn't have a problem enjoying your favorite foods.

Ever tried a buffalo burger? They're lean, and pretty good!
 
they're ok - not the worst i've ever had but not the best either... they're a little dry - even when i cook them medium rare... buffalo fillets are really nice though, just seared - or my preferred method of cooking good steak, walk it slowly thru a warm room.
 
no carbs

the burger with no bread is good.....no carbs..also the grill will take out part of the fat.
